The Tamarack Pines is a family-friendly, peaceful mountain retreat that is open year-round. All rooms are Self-Contained Vacation Suites equipped with full kitchens or kitchenettes and private bathrooms, VCRs, microwaves, refrigerators and coffee makers. During the winter months, outside our wooded one-acre, you will find sledding areas and access to cross-country ski and snowshoe trails. In the summer there are the seasonal stream, campfire circle, hiking trails and biking trails.
Tamarack Pines is a perfect getaway for the family, the outdoor enthusiast or the urban escapist. It provides easy access to both winter and summer sports like mountain biking, hiking, sledding, downhill and cross-country skiing. We are 5 miles from Bear Valley Mountain Resort and Lake Alpine. We are 2.5 miles from Bear Valley Village and Bear Valley Cross Country Center. Consider us for family reunions, business retreats, sports club events or school groups.
