What to Expect
There is no onsite Property Management at the Tamarack Pines Inn.
Please click on the subheading "Emergency Phone Numbers", under the "What to Expect" heading.
Emergency Contact Information will be provided once you have made your reservation. The Tamarack Pines began as a one-room cabin in the 1930’s. It has been a trading post, restaurant, saloon with an outdoor dance floor over the big rock out front, a B&B and private home. In its current state it is a 9 bedroom, 7 bathroom, five kitchen building that is sectioned off into 5 self-contained vacation suites. Each Suite, has it’s own kitchen, dining and living room area (The studio, White Bark, has a kitchenette, but no living room area). Since it is no longer a B&B, breakfast is not provided and there is no common room.
As with any older building, the Tamarack Pines has some quirkiness. We believe that you will find all of the comforts of home (though not the modern comforts of cell coverage and internet). We have newly re-carpeted, the kitchens are new and well stocked and the beds are comfortable. The rooms are cozy and well furnished. Sheets sets are provided. If you would like the beds made prior to your arrival, please note that in your reservation request. Parking is right outside the front door. Sleds are available for your use and the sledding hill is just outside. The views from the units are beautiful!
